How it Works

New Client Discovery

 

1) Discovery Questionnaire - Please complete the form below as a first step to provide some basic information and context. This will make our conversation more productive & will be required prior to a discovery call.

2) Discovery Consultation Call - After you complete the questionnaire we’ll schedule a 30 minute call to discuss. We’ll talk through your questions, details about what you’re looking for, get to know one another, and talk about service options.

3) Engagement Scope- Based on our discovery call, we’ll decide if working together is a good fit. If we move forward, we’ll work together to define a statement of work based on your needs and budget. This work usually falls into one of the following categories:

  • Short-term project: Defined by a clear list of one-time deliverables.

    • Example: cleanup projects, accounting system setup/consult, DIY quickbooks training sessions, budget/forecast prep, other consulting projects.

    • This type of work will require a 50% deposit upfront and 50% due upon completion.  

  • Recurring: Defined by a set of recurring monthly or quarterly deliverables.

    • Example: Monthly close & financial reporting, management of day-to-day financial operations (bills, invoices, payroll, etc).

    • This type of work is usually billed monthly based on time spent with minimum 2 hours per month retainer.

4) Engagement Letter is signed, sealed, delivered.

5) Engagement Kickoff - a timeline is agreed upon, requested data is provided and we’ll get started!
