Hi, I’m Megan.
Welcome to my creative outlet.
I am a right-brained accountant who is finding her way in life and doing things a little differently. Accountant by day (sometimes night) and an adventure seeker on the regular, I’m on a mission to prove to the world that accountants know how to have fun too.
In 2017, I left my comfortable San Francisco lifestyle to set out on the road in a converted Sprinter van to see, hear and feel all the amazing things this country has to offer. And wow did our country show up for me through 39 states over a year+. When personal life events took a turn in 2019, I took on the adventure of doing my own Sprinter Van Conversion with my friends at Heartwood Custom Vans. I took this new tiny home of mine and set back out on the road, this time solo, and with an intention to find a new place to call home. You can read more about my vanlife adventures here.
Vanlife offered a life changing experience - it changed my perspective on priorities, it gave me the confidence I needed as a solo female traveler, presented me with the opportunity to explore unique corners of the country and led me to meet so many incredible people along the way. However, this fast paced life on wheels also led to a craving for local roots in a community and a lifestyle that did not revolve around constant movement. So in 2020, I made the decision to settle down and setup shop in Boise, ID.
Inspired with the intention to create my own happiness and build the life I want - I started my own business SunnyDays LLC.
SunnyDays has two separate branches:
1) Sunny Days Business Consulting
2) Sunny Days Handmade Shop & Creative Services
In my consulting business - I work with small- to mid-sized companies to support the accounting and finance processes that make up the backbone of any company. As a business owner, I want to help you get organized and understand what your numbers are telling you - so you can go spend more time doing the things you love. Learn more about what I do on my Business Services page.
My active left brain has always been interested in exploring other creative interests in an effort to balance the rational logic driven brain of an accountant. The creative side of my business is a constant work in progress and and purposely undefined. It has ranged from creative photo projects, to making woven wall art sold in my shop and most recently to collaborating with other artists and makers to expand the offerings in the Sunny Days Shop.
At the end of the day - I feel so passionate about supporting and empowering entrepreneurs & small businesses in creating a sustainable business lifecycle and community that can be better together.
